The study was hard to do because I live in mountainous terrain and my truck doesn't like climbing uphill! I turned on the generators and drove 50 miles before I did another mileage check. During that 50 miles, I noticed my truck climbed the hills around here better and, well, SMELLED better - no more burning eyes when I walked behind it, and no more toxic fumes in the cab!!
I was amazed to see the difference - 27 mpg, a difference of more than 50%!!I continued to check my mileage, and it climbed to 35mpg then dropped back to 27mpg, which is where it is now. I've had the Generators in for over 3 months now, and have made a few adjustments.First, I made a 'flashback suppressor' I wired my generators directly to the battery and into a 50 amp toggle switch. I forgot to turn off the switch when I went to help my sister at her house, and after an hour and a half I went to leave.
I didn't check the switch.
I turned the key on and just as I engaged the starter, I heard a huge BANG!! and saw a very large, billowing white cloud of smoke coming out from under my hood. I looked down at that switch and noticed it was on, and started to laugh(crying at that point would have been fruitless!) I slowly got out of my truck after turning that switch off and opened the hood, finding my air cleaner assembly SEVERELY distorted and missing several pieces - including the hold down bolt and a small piece of my carburetor! I had blown my motor up, as well as my generators and the collector jar.
Lesson learned!
I also discovered I kind on liked blowing up these things!!!
There have been some other improvements made, but the main point is.....
I SAVED MONEY ON GAS!

many are still experimanting with this type of hho generator - Our opinion is :DO NOT USE GLASS JARS for hho generators.
HHO Dry Cells or "proper" continers for hho wet cell generators are low cost enough. Always wire your HHO Generator Through a curcuit that turns off when you turn the key off.
