KOH For HHO Dry Cells And HHO Wet Cell Generators
|
|
Potassium hydroxide is the chemical which is mixed with distilled water for your HHO cell. This mixture is called electrolyte. Each cell needs a specific amount, or concentraion, of electrolyte in order to run properly. If there is too much KOH, a cold cell will be slow to heat up in the morning or in cold weather. If there is too little KOH, the cell may put out very little HHO even when the cell is hot. |

KOH Electrolyte For Your HHO Dry Cell or HHO wet Cell Generators

High quality KOH for liquid soap
making and demanding biodiesel
manufacture. Also for use in
specialty applications such as in
hydrogen generators. 90% Pure
Flakes. All products are shipped in
easy-to-store, easy-to-use
resealable HPDE containers. COA
provided upon request.
Potassium Hydroxide is the best
electrolyte for a Hydrogen Generator. We wont use any thing else for catalyst in our HHO Dry cells.
It is excellent also for Making
Liquid Soap.
Potassium hydroxide is a corrosive
materials used in making soap, some
food products, in fuel cells, and in
making bio diesel fuel.
hh02u.com
sells potassium hydroxide via the
internet. Shipment is only made in 1 and 2
lb certified plastic containers by
FedEx ground, we ship up to 16 of
these 2lb containers per box, and up
to 128lbs of (KOH) hydroxide in any one
FedEx ground shipment (IE: 4 x 32lb
boxes, containing 16 containers per
box). The approved plastic container
is made from durable high quality HDPE with a plastic child resistant
twist-off resealable cap. The
benefit of this plastic container is
that you may maintain the product in
a place you otherwise may not (like
your garage), because the resealable
container inhibits the entry of
moisture, so that your product stays
dry and loose. Beware of suppliers
that do not ship in certified
containers as your product will
likely be un-useable if you store
for any length of time in even
slightly humid conditions. Hydroxide
is hydrophilic which means that it
not only attracts moisture and water
but it actively absorbs any moisture
or water to which it is exposed.
Use caution when purchasing drain
openers as a source of lye because
most drain openers contain other
chemical in addition to the lye.
These other chemicals are very
undesirable and potentially harmful
when used in hydrogen generators, making soap and
biodiesel.

KOH solutions will cause immediate and permanent damage, discoloration, and corrosion to certain metals, especially aluminum. Potassium hydroxide will react vigorously with any strong acid and should not be mixed with any other chemicals. Keep out of reach of children. Use baking soda to clean up spills and dispose properly. Do not store in metal containers.

Learn About KOH Mix |
A Note From A Popular HHO Generator Forum :
I tested baking soda, sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide.
Potassium hydroxide is by far the best. The reason is rust or crud generation.
Baking soda is worst, changing electrolyte every 2 days. Sodium hydroxide is better, changing electrolyte about every 5 days. Potassium hydroxide, has barely any generation of crud. It has been weeks and I only have to add distilled water.
It does not harm your engine because it stays in the electrolyte. When the water is used the electrolyte gets stronger because the potassium hydroxide stays in the electrolyte. I've only added distilled water to my HHO generator for weeks.
Potassium hydroxide is caustic, and the crystals are dangerous, so care should be taken when using it.
