Next Gas Prices Go Up World Wide
The weekly AAA Texas gasoline price survey released Thursday found that a gallon of regular unleaded is selling for $2.68 per gallon, a nickel more than last week. The national average price rose a nickel to $2.86 per gallon this week.
The state’s cheapest gasoline is $2.64 per gallon in San Antonio and Galveston, a nickel more than last week in San Antonio and 4 cents more in Galveston. The most expensive gasoline in Texas is $2.73 per gallon in Amarillo, up a nickel, and Texarkana, where it soared 11 cents from last week. ...
Next Retail Gasoline and Diesel Prices Increase
The U.S. average retail price for a gallon of gasoline shot up 6 cents from last week to $2.87 per gallon and was $0.20 per gallon higher than last year at this time. The increase was most pronounced in the Midwest, where the gasoline price soared 13 cents versus the previous week. Prices on the Gulf Coast gained four cents, followed by a three cent rise on the East Coast. Relative to the rest of the country, price increases in the Rocky Mountains and on the West Coast were muted, with each region seeing a gain of less than penny from the week before. Prices on the West Coast remained the highest in the country at $3.08 per gallon ...
Next Gas Prices increased in Newfoundland and Labradors
For the third week in a row, gas prices have increased in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Public Utilities Board, which regulates prices for gas, diesel and home-heating fuel, allowed retailers to raise the maximum price on gasoline by 2.9 or 3.0 cents per litre. The difference is due to rounding for HST in different pricing zones in the province.
The change means that consumers are paying just over five cents per litre for gas than they were at the beginning of the month.
On the Avalon Peninsula, where prices are cheapest, a litre of self-serve unleaded gas can sell for no more than $1.159 ...
Next 2010 - Increasing Gas Prices In USA
The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline hit $2.70 on Thursday, according to the auto club AAA. That's up 67 percent from this time last year, and it's the highest price since October 2008 -- a fact not lost on drivers.
Sayed Bilal, a cabdriver in Rockville, estimated that he's spending $200 more a month on gas than he's used to.
"It's affecting everyone's budget," he said, "especially after the holidays. In my business, I depend on people's pocket money. If they don't have any ...
Next Rising gas prices could be a drag on economic recovery
When oil closed above $82 per barrel on Wednesday, it passed through something known as a resistance level. In trader-speak, a resistance level is like a soft ceiling -- a price that traders do not expect a stock or a commodity to pass, at least not easily and not in the near term. When oil broke through the $82 ceiling, traders began resetting their price estimates for coming months for crude at $90 or even $100 per barrel. This can translate to $3 gas ...
Next Gas Price Jump Not About Supply or Demand
Usually, gas price jumps result in a war of words over whether blame should fall on the unbridled greed of “big oil” or the tree-hugging environmentalists who won’t let the oil companies boost supply by drilling in the Arctic or building more refineries.
Neither is the problem. As U.S. Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., said in an interview this week that investors' "excessive speculation" into oil prices is in part to blame ...
Next High Gas Prices Blamed on Weak Dollar
Wednesday’s 16-cent jump in gas prices at Omaha stations may not be the last price bump at the pump we’ll see this month.
Retailers haven’t yet passed along their full cost from the recent rise in crude oil prices, said Rose White, a spokeswoman for AAA Nebraska.
The national average for a gallon of unleaded gasoline was $2.806 on Thursday, according to AAA, Wright Express and the Oil Price Information Service. That’s about 7 cents more than a month ago and 12 cents above a year ago ...
Next High Gas Prices - Not Over Yet
The Federal Reserve is taking steps to stimulate the U.S. economy, but those moves are also helping to push oil prices near their high for the year. That increase will eventually translate into higher gas prices.
The national average for a gallon of unleaded gasoline was $2.806 Thursday, according to AAA, Wright Express and Oil Price Information Service. That's about 7 cents more than a month ago and 12 cents above a year ago. It will probably keep rising. Some analysts think the price could be a nickel to a dime more by Thanksgiving ....
Next 2010 - Gas Prices Will Increase In USA
FORT WORTH, Texas -- Prices at the pump probably will continue to rise -- at least in the short run. But they may not be related to the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
While some experts predict the oil spill will likely impact retail gasoline prices, others say the spill shouldn't cause a price increase.
``The oil spill is a serious, serious environmental story and probably a serious political story,'' said Tom Kloza, chief oil analyst for the Oil Price Information Service, which tracks gasoline prices for AAA.
But the spill is the result of a blowout at a single offshore rig and shouldn't affect overall U.S. oil production or gasoline prices, he said. ...
Next Gas Prices Up About a Nickel
U.S. gas prices rose by a little more than a nickel over the past two weeks, as recent increases in crude prices made their way to the pump, according to a new survey of filling stations.

The latest Lundberg Survey, conducted Friday, found the average price of self-serve regular gasoline was $2.82 per gallon.
That's 5.23 cents higher than from the last ...
Next Texarkana has highest gas prices in Texas
Thanksgiving break is here for most area schools, and that means family trips will begin as soon as today as millions of Americans hit the roads for their annual Thanksgiving trek.
Every year, holiday travelers take to the skies and hit the rails, but most spill onto the highways. In 2009, according to AAA, an estimated 87.7 million Americans traveled more than 50 miles over the holidays, 85 percent of whom drove.
According to the Associated Press, falling crude oil prices aren’t stopping retail gasoline prices from continuing their climb in Texas and nationwide ...
Next Gas Prices Go Up Travelers Hit Hard
As motorists prepare for one of the busiest travel weekends of the year, national gasoline prices have reached a six month high. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the average retail gasoline price was $2.89 per gallon during the latest reporting period.
According to a web site that monitors gas prices in Alabama (alabamagasprices.com), the average retail price of gasoline has fallen 2.5 cents per gallon statewide during the past week. The average price of gasoline in Alabama now sits at $2.71 per gallon. In Cullman, gasoline at most stations sits at around $2.74 per gallon and ...

Next 2010 Kia Forte Replacement For The Kia Spectra
The 2010 Kia Forte, a replacement for the dull Spectra, is one the first salvos in Kia's battle to enhance its image. Perhaps the 173 HP, six-speed manual-equipped SX will find its target. Similar to the already debuted Korean 2009 Kia Forte, the new Forte was supposed ....
